From 1997 the Festival grew from a small event to one of the major cultural events of the Hawkesbury. Each year
at the end of October over six thousand people visited the
picturesque

Sadly the Scarecrow Festival has not been held since 2012 Hopefully new enthusiasm will be found to bring a fun filled event back to the village.
